Welcome!

Thank you for visiting The Community! We are glad that you’ve connected with us and hope the website will tell you a little bit more about who we are and what God is doing with the people who gather here.

Whether you come with a friend, hear about us through a mutual connection, or wander in the door with few connections at all, we want you to know that The Community is a place for all people.  The love of Jesus stretches beyond our comprehension, beyond cultural and social boundaries, and this is a place for the diverse family of God to gather.

Who We Are

We are not a church that has all of the answers. We are a group of people who come together to question, doubt, find faith, love, and most importantly… authentic community.  We are a part of a larger group of churches called the Reformed Church in America.  As a larger group of churches, we seek to be “Reformed and always reforming,” earnestly seeking to know the mind of Christ as we strive to be faithful in a changing, complex, and often troubled world. To put it simply, we don’t think we have all the answers, and are trying to be more like Jesus with every day that passes.

For more than a decade now, we’ve based our ministry on a verse from the Bible, Micah 6:8 “…do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God.” We hope that you’ll consider joining us in the journey.

Sincerely,

Pastor Mara Norden
