We are working to provide support in positive and affirming ways to those who live on the margins in our society. While people often assume that giving your time to fulfill the needs of financially insecure people is a “have” to “have-not” relationship, we find it is quite the contrary. When you become involved in these ministries, you see the resilience and strength in everyone. It becomes a “sharing of God among us" and a space of mutual blessing.
Come and experience this with other friends of The Community.
Join us to distribute sandwiches, clothing, and supplies to our neighbors in the Heartside District in downtown Grand Rapids. All are welcome, including children with their parents.
