Christmas Eve Worship Services

Saturday, December 24 maChristmas-Eve-Service-Vidor-TXrks a favorite annual tradition at The Community.  We gather for worship each year on Christmas Eve to remember that still, silent night when Jesus was born.  The night God became flesh.  The moment the world learned that God’s desire is to be with us.

We’ll have two services at 6:00pm and 10:00pm.  Both services will be identical in content, with the exception of a special ‘spontaneous nativity’ at the 6:00pm service.  Young children are invited to grab a costume, and participate in recreating the scene of the holy family on that first night.

Come sing classic Christmas carols led by our band, hear the story from the Bible retold, and listen to a message about the good news of Christmas.  Each service will feature the opportunity to receive communion, and services will conclude with the singing of silent night in a quiet sanctuary, illuminated by candlelight.  We hope you and your family will join us, along with neighbors and friends from all over.  It promises to be a night to remember. Christmas-Eve-Service_0
