Ada Chili and Beer Festival – New Sponsors in 2017

Ada Chili and Beer Festival, Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan Announce New Partnership, Sponsors for 2017 Event

Ada, MI – The Community Church in Ada, organizers of the Ada Chili and Beer Festival, recently announced that they will be partnering with the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan (RMHWM) for the 2017 event and into the future. This year’s event will take place on Dec. 2, 2017 in downtown Ada, Michigan.

“As the event continues to grow at a tremendous rate, the church has been looking for the right charity partner to work with,” said Edward Kuo, chairman of the event. “We wanted to keep the focus of the event on bringing the community together. The Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan has been one of the most inviting, heart-filled charitable groups in the area, and their organization reaches deep into Grand Rapids and its surrounding areas,” he added.

“This festival in Ada gives us an excellent opportunity to create awareness of our organization on a fun-filled holiday weekend,” said Marcie Lewis, Executive Director of the RMHWM. “We look forward to having our volunteers working side-by-side with The Community Church and being a part of this exciting event.”

In addition to the new partnership, the event organizers released the names of the sponsoring organizations for the event.

The Ada Chili and Beer Festival, going into its fourth year, has quickly become one of the largest beer and chili festivals in the state of Michigan. Last year, the event drew nearly 2,000 people, 16 breweries and cider farms, 30 chili entries and filling over 10,000 square feet of tent space. Located in downtown Ada, the festival has always been held on the first Saturday of December, following the Ada Christmas Parade.

About The Community Church: thecommunity-ada.org

The Community Church is a place for all people.  The love of Jesus stretches beyond our comprehension, beyond cultural and social boundaries, and this is a place for the diverse family of God to gather. We are a group of people who come together to question, doubt, find faith, love, and most importantly… authentic community. For nearly a decade now, we’ve based our ministry on a verse from the Bible, Micah 6:8 “…do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God.”  We hope that you’ll consider joining us in the journey.
